Money Back Guarantee
Rainy Day offers a 30 day Money Back Guarantee on the install and first month service fees for consumer installs. In order to qualify for a refund, the customer must contact and receive a confirmation number from Rainy Day Support within the first 30 days from the install date.
System Notifications
Automated email notifications will notify you when you reach 75% of your monthly limit to help prevent you from going over your limit. If you are unsure about your monthly usage, please contact Rainy Day Support for assistance.
Overage Fees
Monthly transfer limits are in place to ensure that all subscribers have fair and equal access. Periodically subscribers may require above average data transfer. In order to accommodate the addition bandwidth usage an overage fee is charged when an account goes past their monthly allowed transfer.
Rather than cutting off the service until the start of the next billing cycle; an automated system will email the account owner to let them know they will be invoiced before going over. The standard overage fee is $6 per GB that is transferred beyond the monthly limit on the account.
Additional Install Fees
In some cases the standard install fee may not be enough due to the extra efforts needed to bring you online, such as more height needed to receive the signal. In other cases you might want the install to be done to better suit your desires.
$199.00 - when a 30 foot popup is required for signal strength
$50.00 - per additional 25 feet when extra Outdoor CAT5 cable is needed
Extras, at your request...
We highly recommend you use a physical firewall to protect your computers. The most common, useful, and affordable is a Wireless Broadband router, which combines Switch, Router, WiFi, and Firewall features.
While installing your Internet we can setup a Switch/Router/WiFi/Firewall. If you have more than one computer you might need some extra cabling run between rooms, or WiFi Ethernet cards installed.
$85.00 - indoor CAT5 cable run up to 50 feet
$150.00 - indoor CAT5 cable run up to 300 feet
$100.00 - 4 port switch/router/wifi/firewall
Additional computers and equipment are available at time of install when arranged ahead of time. Please talk to Rainy Day Support before your install and obtain a Task number to make sure we bring everything you want.
