There is a non-refundable $85 install fee that will be charged.

Data Use Overages for Phone Service

"Will the Rainy Day Phone Service cause my cause overage fees on my Internet account?"

As part of your Rainy Day Internet you are allowed at least 5 GB per month depending on your plan. VoIP does use some of your monthly allowed transfer; but very little.

If your account has already gone past the monthly limit, the overage portion of a phone call is equal to $0.0036 per minute or 21 cents per hour. If the phone was being used 24/7 for an entire month the total overage would be $12 for the 2.5 GB transferred.

The average four person household uses the phone for approximately 15 hours per month which equals a total of 0.05 GB of transfer.
