Junior Support Technician
Permanent Full Time Position

Rainy Day has an immediate need for a Junior Support Technician. The primary role for this position is to help support customers with technical issues, and to assist the installation of new internet customers. This is an ideal entry position with someone who has a desire and enjoys to work with technology and the outdoors.

Requirements:

  • A customer service attitude
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Clearly documenting tasks or technical configurations
  • Comfortable with climbing on roofs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic house construction knowledge
  • Valid class 5 Manitoba driver's license

The following skills are also an asset:

  • Installation of structured CAT5 cable
  • PC and server troubleshooting and repair in Windows environments
  • Radio Frequency (RF) experience or training
  • Understanding basic IP routing concepts
