Phase 2: SportGoing for FTF’s can get the adrenaline going!

bulletFound myself racing with gumpy for FTF’s. What fun!
bulletBy August I was racing ertyu for the PBD’s Ten Most Wanted series
bulletMade my 100th find at Circle to the Past Aug 19, 2005. Now I can call myself a cacher!
bulletGot into a FTF race with Lizardo at Skyhawk’s Poker Stash series Sept to Oct, 2005. The Lizard and I made a connection and have been friends ever since.

Phase 3: ObsessionPuzzles, Events and Contests – Oh my!

bulletWent through my experimental phase from Aug to Oct 2005 when I dabbled in Locationless (Reverse) caches.
bulletPeter and Gloria’s mind bending puzzle The Ultimate Challenge had me spend 40 hours on a compulsion to solve it in Sept 2005. It turns out I like puzzles too :)
bulletI attended my first event, MBGA Poker Derby on Oct 16, 2005. This is a social activity!
bulletOct 18, 2005 was my first group caching outing with the GeoGurls 3T’s&aG and MHz as well as Cache and Cary at Waterline. I’m making new friends – this is great!
bulletThe-Stuntman came out with the Lucky-7 game in Nov 2005. This would prove to be my mission for the next four month’s and made the winter pass very quickly. Lizardo and I teamed up and pulled out our shovels to go poker chip hunting in the snow! Winter caching is sooo cool!
bulletMy first solo night caching was Nov 4, 2005 at Heart Halting Horror. Night caching is sooo cool!
bulletFrom Feb to Apr 2006 I put out the seven cache Scrabble series. This turned out to very a very successful game and I got tons of enjoyment from all the player’s logs and photos.
bulletHelped organize the first  formal group caching outing "Blitzing" The Forks on May 25, 2006
bulletIn June 2006 I scooped Lizardo on several FTF’s for the Australian Continent in Skaven’s Risk series. The battle continued in the MBGA forum in News Flash – Australia Heats Up.
bulletWe hosted the first TurdleRanch party: MBGA May Madness "Blitz" on June 3, 2006. We had a great turnout and it was lots of fun.
bulletUpgraded GPSr to the faster, more sensitive Garmin GPSMAP 60Cx.
bulletBought an ATV and made my first cache find on an quad Sept 3, 2006 at Hulda Ostman.
bulletWe hosted the second TurdleRanch party: All Good Things Must Come To A Blitz! On Sept 23,2006. This time was an even better turnout with a BBQ hog, movie and fireworks. I love parties!
bulletOn Oct 23, 2006 adopted nine caches from the retiring polarbeardiggers

Phase 4: Integrated into LifestyleI’m here for the distance!

bulletIn March 2007 was elected president  of the MBGA
bulletBy May 2007 my lust for FTF’s had diminished somewhat. I have now entered the lifestyle integration phase of Geocaching.
bulletAug 2007 saw the 1,000th find of a TurdleEggs cache
bulletMade my 1,000th find at Arden Nature Trail on Aug 27, 2007
